The strafing is a bit too fast; it keeps you from positioning yourself with the precision needed to get through some of the trickier rock formations. Even the lightest tap of a key results in an overadjustment, and your ice cube annoyingly ends up wiggling back and forth past the position you need, until you crash into the rocks.
But then again, the fast movement is handy for dodging the penguins...
Maybe you could have it where strafing is slower when "S" is being held or something? That way you have speed when you need it and precision when you need it.
Edit: I also noticed the score doesn't reset to 0 between runs...
Also: Maybe a jump? There's some instances where a penguin will be sliding through the only way through a rock formation, meaning death is unavoidable. This wouldn't an issue if you could jump in order to hop over sliding penguins. It would also give you another tool to deal with those short, flat stone slabs...
